LETS HAVE A QUIZ! Can you name 400 Amiga games? In this show, we look at all the games we have seen so far in the Lemon Playguides, and also a sneak peek at series 5 and BEYOND! Why not see if you can name them all!

The seed of this idea came from thinking about how many people can name 400 top C64 games. Sure, sure people could name them all, but I really dont think I could make a list of 400 really great games, and would run out of ideas after a while. But for the Amiga, sure I could rattle 100 names off without thinking about it. The guys in California asked me to name 100 top Amiga games for their Amiga 30 event, and I've been thinking about that list of top games since, and which would I have in my top 100 is not easy.

After that, I figured why not just show all the games we (royal we, but also from the Lemon Amiga database) have covered on the shows so far. Then I figured, why not show the next series, so people know in advance that the series will focus on Loooong games, and so will be long reviews. I didnt complete any game, but they are hours of footage. I wont let the running time go over 1:30, with most shows being around the hour mark. I had a comment this week asking why not just makes the shows shorter, to cater for the casual gamer, but these playguides are meant to get the player deeper into the game, and that takes however long it takes to describe it. Shows like The Retro Hour, or Matt Chat have a huge following, and typically run for an hours duration. I'll try to keep the reviews interesting so that the time will fly by.

The order of the series 5 games is presented in random order in the video. I''ll go with which ever game feels like it would make a good review, each week as always, so that the games feel fresh.

After that, we see a random set of images to represent some of the games we could see on the show at some point. There are a long list of notable omissions to this list, and a separate list of platformer omissions was added at the end, which was expanded over several weeks to include many games I had forgotten. It is surprising that people can make Top 1000 Amiga Games videos on youtube - which would be very hard to do on say a NES or even a Playstation X, without resorting to some seriously unknown titles. So its 400 games plus 10 - for those who might have missed a few names. Sorry the screens go by so quickly in places.

Omissions:

Nebulus, Shadow of the Beast 1 or 3, Bart Simpson, Trolls, Back to the Futures, and many other games from the famous Commodore Packs, and so the list of additions even to a top 400 games list is just insane and frankly impossible.

N.B. I notice youtubers making top chart list videos recently, and this was in no way meant to compete with them. This was a "name that game" quiz which went spiralling out of my control.
