Our dogs were our biggest asset when we began foster care. They have a way of making an uncomfortable kid feel a little more comfortable and awkward situations a bit less awkward. They were both 10 years old when we started fostering and now they are the proud owners (and guardians) of five crazy kids!

We are the Black Family! We went from zero to five kids overnight through the miracle of adoption and foster care. We are learning to be a family together and want to inspire and encourage others to get involved in their state's foster program.
