Beyond The Scanlines #017: Sentinel (Synapse Software) (Commodore 64)

The shadow which Star Raiders holds over the early days of 8-bit gaming, with many titles attempting to adapt its mechanics, but falling by the wayside.

Though one of those which deserved better was "Sentinel", developed by Bryan Brandenburg and published by Synapse Software in 1984.

Gameplay footage recorded off a real C64C (using a C64 Reloaded Mark II via S-Video), fed through an XRGB Mini - watch at 1080p50 for the absolute best quality!
