Finally it is done! I think I could have spend several more hours on this video but I just wanted it finished. But I'm certain that I will vid Elizabeth again.
My original idea actually came from the lack of videos about her. There are so many videos about her mother Anne Boleyn - or her parents in general - and her cousin Mary Stuart, but very few with Elizabeth actually in the focus.
As I'm not a fan of the movie "Elizabeth" (I was bored to death and I usually love everything remoutly historical), I decided to go with her portrayal in Showtime's The Tudors and the very, very loose adaption of her history with Mary Stuart in The CW's Reign.
I tried to show her conflicting role as a female monarch in a patriarchal society while also having to live up to her father's legacy.
