The Primitive Quartet: Almost Home/Crossing Time Medley
From their 1991 VHS entitled: "Carolina Live! I Can Hear Them Singing Over There", here is the Primitive Quartet singing a medley of two of their older songs. This tape was recorded on February 22nd of 1991, at the T. Austin Finch Auditorium in Thomasville, North Carolina. "Almost Home" was originally recorded on their 1978 album of the same name, which was also Mike's first album singing with the group. "When Crossing Time Shall Come" was originally recorded in their 1979 album of the same name. This lineup included Norman Wilson (Tenor/Mandolin), Reagan Riddle (Lead/Rhythm Guitar), Mike Riddle (Baritone/Lead Guitar), Larry Riddle (Bass), Randy Fox (Added Vocal/Rhythm Guitar/Mandolin/Banjo), and Charlie Chandler (Bass/Fiddle). Please enjoy these great songs!
