Unforgettable 1-Hour Great Barrier Reef Scenic Flight - Whitsundays and Heart Reef

The Great Barrier Reef Scenic Flight takes you on an adventure to the world's largest coral reef system! There are over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands to check out.

Great Barrier Reef is located in the Coral Sea, just off the coast of Queensland, Australia.

On our 1-Hour scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef, we had a chance to check out the Whitsunday Island and the Whitehaven Beach, Hamilton Island, Hayman Island and of course the amazing Heart Reef!!

As we mentioned, there are tonnes of reefs out there, so make sure to have your phone and camera's batteries fully charged, cause this place is extremely beautiful!!

We went on a One Hour Great Barrier Reef Scenic Flight with GSL Aviation, which took us from and back to the Proserpine Airport located 30 mins out of Airlie Beach.

In our case, the transfer from the main office of GSL Aviation Airlie Beach was complementary. They took all of our luggage and dropped us off in front of the domestic terminal (ready for our flight home) straight after the scenic flight. This way we had no problem with transfers at all. Smooth ride.
