Creativity can still emerge in people with dementia, so art is frequently incorporated into engagement activities with residents and program participants at Abe's Garden Community. We believe art can help those living with dementia express themselves. Creating art engages a different part of the brain than the part that we use for language.

Whether we are engaging those who have had a love of art their entire lives or those who are trying something new, we are always in awe of the beauty they create.

Our Life Engagement team provides a fresh approach to each art engagement, often offering an opportunity to try a different art style or medium to keep the creativity flowing.
