CREATE VIEW Statement (SQL) - Creating Virtual Tables
In SQL, the CREATE VIEW statement creates a virtual table based on the results of a SQL statement. One reason for creating views is to prevent unauthorized access to data. We can grants users access to the view, instead of an entire table. This video also covers the DROP VIEW statement.
