Thai government trying to disarm protest movement by clamping down on media: Analyst

On Oct 20, Thailand ordered the shut down of news website Voice TV, and at least three other media organisations are under investigation for their coverage of anti-government protests. It's the latest move to clampdown on media, which the government said is stoking the flames of unrest. Associate Professor Thitinan Pongsudhirak from the political science department of Chulalongkorn University explained how the curbs will affect the protests, and what can be expected as the Thai parliament reconvenes next week for a special session.
