As part of Umeå as the European Cultural Capital of 2014 Ottiliana Rolandsson and her project I Was Greta Garbo was awarded a stipend to do a Swedish translation and produce a reading of the play in Swedish. This reading combined with a lecture was presented at the unique Womens Historical Museum (Kvinnohistoriskt museum) located at the brand-new Cultural Center i Umeå, Northern Sweden. The next phase is to produce a full length theatrical production in Swedish with premiere in this city.
