This Trail Was Too Hard For Me - Stefan Eberharter

I found this trail on purpose after hiking up to this summit. It's not listed in the map, so I was surprised I didn't had to ride down the trail I walked up. From the first moment I was completely stoked about this trail: the landscape, the difficulty and the look of it gave me goosebumps. So to ride this trail completely without taking any feets on the ground became my project for this year.

One day in September I felt ready to give it a try. I had a good feeling and felt strong on the bike. Everything went fine, until I reached the crux of the trail. A difficult switchback in a very exposed place. By looking at it I thought I could do it. But when I was on the bike I just didn't feel strong and safe enough to do it. My mind was too weak for this situation. I hope I can do it one day!
