Hamas ‘not interested' in coexistence or peace: Israeli Ambassador
Israel’s Ambassador to Australia Amir Maimon has condemned Hamas' only solution to the war in the Middle East, which is the terrorist organisation's commitment to the “destruction of Israel and the annihilation of its inhabitants”.
Mr Maimon’s National Press Club address comes just over two weeks since the Hamas attacks on Israel which killed at least 1,400 people.
“Hamas is not interested in coexistence or peace,” Mr Maimon told the Maimon told the National Press Club of Australia.
“Hamas does not hesitate to sacrifice Palestinians in its attempt to achieve its monstrous goals.”
“It is not interested in creation, but in total destruction; not in peace, but in eternal war.”
