NetSuite Tutorial | Bulk Updating Customer Records for Dunning in NetSuite

I explain how to use the bulk update customer records feature in the Dunning Letters bundle in NetSuite. This tool is designed to update multiple customer records simultaneously, saving you time when applying changes like allowing or disallowing Dunning letters to be emailed or printed.
Before starting, remember that NetSuite recommends using the bulk update feature outside of normal business hours to avoid conflicts with other users updating customer records. If you have a OneWorld account, the bulk updates will apply to all customers' records with Dunning procedures associated with the selected subsidiary. Non-OneWorld accounts allow only one bulk update at a time, while OneWorld accounts prevent multiple updates for the same subsidiary.
To begin, go to 'Setup', 'Dunning', and select 'Bulk Update Customer Records for Dunning'. Choose the subsidiary to which you want to apply the updates, then set the options for allowing Dunning letters to be emailed or printed. You also have the option to restrict Dunning emails from being sent to customer emails by checking "do not send letters to customer emails."
For each field, you can choose to leave it unchanged, set it to 'checked', or set it to 'unchecked'. Click 'Update' to start the process. Be cautious—once the bulk update begins, it can't be reversed. NetSuite will send you an email notification when the process is complete, with details on how many records were updated. If any records fail to update, it could be due to a validation error, which you can explore in the NetSuite documentation.
