'IOC bowing the knee to trans agenda' allowing weightlifter Laurel Hubbard to compete

GT Communication’s Liz Storer says it is “patently absurd” the International Olympic Committee are “now bowing the knee to the transgender agenda” by allowing New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard to compete at the Tokyo Games.

The 43-year-old, who had not competed at international level prior to transitioning, was selected for the women’s super-heavyweight category over 21-year-old Tongan Kuinini Manumua.

Ms Storer said the IOC’s decision would mean women would be denied the “recognition they deserve” at sport’s highest level.

“It’s worse than unfair, we’re literally buying into an alternate reality here,” she said.

“If you transition, post puberty, you will always have, as a man, greater muscle mass, greater bone density, you’ll be faster, you have even greater lung capacity.

“It’s patently absurd that the Olympics, which is the highest you can go in any sport across the world, are now bowing the knee to the transgender agenda that would argue what we all know to be untrue, that is biologically, you will always be different.”
