Red was never just a color choice. it was the whole mood. For this shoot I pulled the Westcott FJ80ii with a red gel from the creative pack to soak the environment and then brought in the FJ250 with the Joel Grimes beauty dish as the main light to sculpt the subject clean against all that chaos. This is why I preach gels. not just to add color, but to build a world around your subject. If you are not using gels yet, try it out. one gel can completely change your next shoot.
