Dr. Bernd Montag, CEO of Siemens Healthineers AG since 2015, and his organization play a central role in shaping the future of MedTech an industry that is highly impacted by the current COVID-pandemic. Before being appointed CEO, Dr. Bernd Montag obtained his Doctorate degree in theoretical physics and played basketball at the highest professional level in Germany.
His embracement of diversity and his own, unique background is now at the heart of leading Siemens Healthineers, the mother company for several medical technology companies that is headquartered in Erlangen, Germany.
