Sony Is About To Fail AGAIN… Fairgames Looks COOKED

Sony just can’t seem to get it right with live service games.

After the failure of Concord and the disappointing performance of Marathon, now Fairgames is reportedly being rebooted… and things are NOT looking good.

Originally pitched as a competitive heist game, Fairgames is now shifting toward the extraction shooter genre—clearly trying to chase trends instead of delivering something players actually want. Reports say playtesters are struggling to even find the game “fun,” which is a massive red flag this late into development.

Meanwhile, games like Arc Raiders prove that success in this genre isn’t about copying—it’s about execution.

So what is Sony doing?
