Team Malizia at the UN Ocean Conference & Relay4Nature Baton ceremony in Lisbon

From 27 June to 1 July 2022, Team Malizia members Holly Cova, Helene Katz and Lucia Nebrada are in Lisbon, Portugal to attend the United Nations Ocean Conference. They met with old friend and Italian sailing legend Giovanni Soldini aboard his Multi70 trimaran, Maserati, and received The Ocean Race’s Relay4Nature Baton from Richard Brisius, Race Chairman. The Baton symbolically links environmental conferences around the world.

Maserati Multi70 team recently installed the same Ocean Pack aboard their trimaran, and both our teams will now collect ocean data to help scientists understand and monitor the health of our oceans.
