VLOG 003 || mini haul, meeting London's brother! + more

Helllooo lovelies,

So the past couple of weeks I've been pretty M.I.A from my channel, I was just not feeling inspired and didn't really know what direction I wanted to take my channel in. Tonight's video is just a little daily vlog - something I'm finding myself gravitating more towards filming so I hope you all enjoy because there's more to come :)

I refrained from posting this last week when it was ready to be uploaded because I felt that I needed to leave space across social media purely for sharing insightful, educational and aspiration content regarding the Black Lives Matter movement. This is a topic I personally am very supportive and empowered about, HOWEVER I don't always like the fact that there is such a pressure to promote the charity and lengths one goes to - rather doing it for the sole cause not the praise. I hate that social media is criticising and judging people who haven't actively promoted the charity and time they may have dedicated to various causes, specifically the current #BLM movement. I do not believe in making a photoshoot out of a protest or posting personal donations publicly to different organisations, however I do believe that if we have a voice and a platform (no matter how big or how small) we should use it to see the change we want to see in the world. I have linked a couple of organisations with petitions, donation links + useful information surrounding the topic, that I have come across and found their cause incredibly meaningful *this is not to say that any I haven't listed aren't valuable + please link any others in the description + I will pin the comments for others to see*

Supporting this movement doesn't necessarily mean you have to donate your paycheck or partake in a protest if these are things that don't feel genuine or comfortable to you, it can be as simple as defending your view to a family member who drops a racist comment at the dinner table or standing up when you notice something is wrong. These racial inequalities and differences in society and law enforcement won't change overnight - but everyone needs to do their part now to keep this cause heard and not let it fade away.
