Eddie and Richie were childhood friends. In addition to being very fond of each other, they would never be separated. They would do all their shit together, they would go everywhere together.
But there was only one thing they hid from each other, which was that they fell in love with each other. Richie had accepted this: He was in love with Eddie.
But the same was not the case for Eddie. Eddie couldn't accept it, he couldn't say he was in love with Richie. Their friendship continued until they graduated from high school.

Before leaving Derry for college, Richie told Eddie all his feelings. He admitted to falling in love with him. But Eddie was unable to say the same to Richie because he was afraid of his feelings and brutally broke his heart.
Their friendship ended at that moment, they never saw each other again. At least, until Eddie found Richie.

Richie went to college after Eddie made him so sad, but he dropped it after a while. He made bad choices and started to deal with bad things. In his own words, he was killing 'bad people'.
On the other hand, Eddie decided to become a cop. He successfully graduated from his school, and despite being a cowardly character, he became a brave cop, and then became a private investigator.
The moment he put his life in order, he decided to find Richie.

And he found him. But Richie hadn't forgotten what Eddie did, and now the two were living in very different worlds. One was black and the other was white.
Eddie found out about Richie's job, but that didn't stop him. Richie's world became a mess with Eddie back in his life.

Eddie is ready to do anything for Richie to forgive him. Is Richie ready to forgive the love of his life?
