There are many advantages and disadvantages of living abroad, I think we all feel quite pulled in some ways. But I don't see a lot out there on the downsides of living abroad or the dark side of expat life.

Expat living is a particular way of life but I think that being an expat in Paris or in France more generally can be especially complex. It's the place of dreams for so many people and Paris is often portrayed as being so picture perfect on social media.

But as I say in the video, it's not all roses and THAT'S OKAY. Living abroad, good or bad, is a personal challenge and commitment unlike no other. Life in France as an Expat is weird, wonderful and everything in between.
