Running Multiple Claude Code Sessions in tmux — 2 Agents, 1 Terminal

Two prompts. One script. Two Claude Code agents running side by side in tmux — no GUI, no fuss.

In this Quick Tip, I use Claude Code to install tmux and generate a shell script that launches a split terminal session with two named panes. Then I fire up Claude Code in each pane and run them in parallel.

- Ctrl+B D — detach (session keeps running)
- tmux attach -t claude-work — reattach later
