Specifically, I look at how Allbirds have used sustainably sourced materials like wool and eucalyptus tree fiber to create their wool runner shoes that are both environmentally conscious and comfortable. Allbirds’s wool runners and tree toppers show that innovation and creativity in a stagnant market can lead to highly popular and sustainable solutions. Ultimately, Allbirds shows that in order to create popular products that are sustainable and innovative, you need to be creative and work against the status quo.
