Go Kart from a Lawn Mower (Cheap & Simple)

I made this simple/cheap Go Kart from a Lawn Mower. The Toro "Personal Pace" mowers work well for this for three reasons. First because they will start and run well without the blade. Some older mowers use the blade as a flywheel and need it to be there. Second no accelerator cable is needed. Just a Go Pedal. Third the drive systems are variable speed. The more you push the pedal the faster they go, but also will still only go as fast as a walking self-propelled mower is designed to go.
This video just meant to show the build progression overview from start to finish not step by step. Building your own Go Kart does require some general mechanical aptitude and some metal working power tools and a welder.
