The Earth Breathes – A week in the West

Discover our natural wonders with the ALERTWildfire system of networked surveillance cameras. In 2008 a team of kids from Northern California came up with a way to fight forest fires using cameras. Today, their idea has grown into the ALERTWildfire system of over 700 cameras spanning some of California’s most breathtaking, yet vulnerable landscapes. These cameras capture much more than wildfires….
