How to Terminate a MP-8P8C6ASSH-EZ-EA (CAT 6A CONNECTOR)

Materials Required:
MP-8P8C6ASSH-EZ-EA: TSOC EZ RJ45 solid cat 6a shielded industrial field termination mod plug
CT-101: Wire cutters
A Pair of Pliers
MST-501B: Cable Prep Tool
Precision Screw Driver
TGS-8CRC6AXXXX: 4 Pair CAT 6A UTP/STP Solid Cable
Step 1:
Slide the Strain Relief (boot) onto the 4 Pair CAT 6A Stranded/Solid Cable. (NOTE: boot can be trimmed to fit different diameter cable)

Step 2:
Cut the specified length of 4 Pair CAT 6A UTP/STP Solid Cable (TGS-8CRC6AXXXX) and remove 1 ½" of the jacket using the Cable Prep Tool (MST-501B) to expose the insulated conductors. Fold back foil drain.

Step 3:
Separate each pair and straighten using the Precision Screw Driver and trim evenly using the wire cutters leaving 1" of insulated conductors exposed.

Step 4:
Insert the 4 Pair CAT 6A UTP/STP Solid Cable (TGS-8CRC6AXXXX) into the connector guide, arrange wire in the order according to wire chart (568A/568B) diagram. Make sure the conductors reach the end of the insert guide. Double check wire code.

Step 5:
Trim wires level to cable insert guide using the (CT-101) wire cutter. Remove diagram sticker. Take the MP-8P8C6ASSH-EZ-EA left up the cover, remove the black rubber insert and place the cable wire assembly into the body face down of the plug.
Step 6:
Use pliers to crimp the wire guide into the contacts to make the connection. Close the cover completely using the pliers squeeze lightly until cover snaps onto the main body of the connector.
Step 7:
Use (CT-101) wire cutter and trim excess foil. Slide the strain relief boot up and align with corresponding slots and push till bottoms out. Take cable tie and feed it through the opening of the boot till it goes in and out again. Tighten and trim with cutters.
Step 8:
Repeat steps 1 through 7 to terminate the opposite end. Once completed test assembly to ensure proper function.
