Traveling in Penang Island, Malaysia! [George Town] pt. 2

Part 2 of the Penang trip is finally up!

We started off by going up even higher on Penang Hill to this awesome little coffee cafe called Monkey Cup. It was hands down the best cafe I've been to. So peaceful, calming, and away from all the noise (except for the cicada bugs, but I'm fine with that, haha).

We made it to two popular food places in Penang Island to eat and they were very delicious. One was Esplanade Food Court and the other was Hameediyah Restaurant.
I had Nasi Kandar for the first time at Hameediyah and boy was it good. It actually originated in Penang as well. Nasi Kandar is essentially steamed rice with different types of curries and side dishes. We ended up choosing prawns, chicken, and lamb. Delicious!

We eventually made our way to Batu Ferringhi beach, which is on the north coast of Penang Island. The mountains in the distance was a nice touch to the sunset that we witnessed. We also went jet skiing, which was my first time, but unfortunately I didn't add it to the vlog.

We also found one of the many wall art pieces in a street called Armenian Street. There are quite a few wall murals scattered around George Town but we didn't have enough time for a scavenger hunt around town, haha. But next time I go, I'll try to find the rest!

Last but not least, we went to The Rainbow Skywalk right in the heart of George Town. 68 floors up lies the glass skywalk where you can see the ground right beneath you, while being 250 meters in the air. This was a very unique expeirience cause I haven't done anything like that before (even though it's just walking on a glass floor), but 68 floors up makes a big difference, haha.

George Town, Penang is surely a place to check out if any of you are in Malaysia!
