Managing Back Pain in Primary Care: Incorporating New Research Findings into Clinical Practice
In this webinar for health professionals, Professor Maher presents some of his recent research findings that have important implications for primary care management of back pain. The research includes the PACE trial evaluating paracetamol for acute back pain, two Cochrane reviews of red flags to screen for cancer and fracture in patients presenting with back pain and a case-crossover study evaluating triggers for a new episode of back pain. Presented by Prof Chris Maher, Sydney Medical School and Director of the Musculoskeletal Division at the George Institute.
