MY MOM ALMOST TURNED GRANDMA EARLY! || MY SISTER IS BACK || HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY

Guess what? We are back at Avri’s mummy’s house again! It’s Georgia’s birthday on July 26 and we all wanted to spend some time with her. Not only that, but Avri’s sister Shawnna was also there too! For those of you guys that are truly a part of the LITJAMFAM, you’ve seen Shawnna in some videos and she’s a recurring topic but she’s rarely there because she’s working and studying while living pretty far out so it’s not easy. However, she was thankfully able to come this time and join the party. We are always happy to come to Avri's Caribbean house, even if it's in Brooklyn, New York! It always feels like back home in Port Antonio, Portland, Jamaica when we visit mom's house.

Mom made some Rasta pasta with shrimp in coconut milk, a truly delicious Jamaican dish! She also made some escovitch fish, festivals and a massive pork leg. We know we can count on her when we want homemade authentic Jamaican food. It's Leo season of course, so Georgia owned the place as always and was running around cooking, telling everyone how to behave! No one is allowed to do anything when she is there - she's a true Jamaican woman: authentic and independent!

Our mixed Lithuanian-Jamaican family is always happy to come together to celebrate a special occasion like mummy’s birthday. You know we had to vlog it for you guys. Come join in the fun with Avri & Simas, meeting up with mummy and Shawnna 😂 Avri is bothering mummy as always, but this time, she could be the annoying little sister too. Her comedy is always funny to her family. The Jamaican patois was flowing as usual, heavy Jamaican accents and all. There was a lot of topics of conversation: Jamaican music, life back in Jamaica vs Lithuania, cooking food, speeding tickets and other traffic violations, struggles growing up, Jamaica news today and politics there and so much more. Yes, traffic tickets because mummy is out of control and drives too fast!

Georgia called some of her friends and family as they also wanted to wish her a happy birthday! One of them happened to be her brother Ras P, who is a reggae/dancehall singer in Switzerland! He hooked us up and let us use one of his songs, “Far Away From Home”! We are so proud that he’s trying to make it over in Europe and we hope we can help him become a successful reggae star. Big up Ras P! 🇨🇭🇯🇲
