Chinese Granite Sculpture Part 1

Granite Sculpturing is alive and well in China. There are many artists that specialize in carving granite and the quality ranges from Excellent to poor. The apprentice carvers rough in the shape and journeyman carvers add detail. The master carvers then come in to add the fine details. Several kinds of granite and marble are used in these photos.
