Ernie Jimenez sets a new official Guinness World Record for the longest open sight shot at 2240 yards at the North Springs Shooting Range in Price, Utah on May 25th, 2015.

K31 Swiss is chambered in 7.5×55mm Swiss / Gewehrpatrone 11 and Ernest is shooting 190 gr Sierra Match King at 2470 FPS & 2550 ft/lbs of energy at the muzzle.

At 2240 yards velocity drops to 592 ft/sec & 150 ft/lbs.
