Local singer to participate in American talent show

After moving from Gauteng to Jeffreys Bay when she was nine-years-old, Dané Steenkamp began singing as a coping mechanism while she settled into her new environment.

Now, five years later, with hard work and assistance from her singing coach at Vibe Music Academy in Jeffreys Bay, the talented singer will be travelling to America in June to participate in Talent America.

In this video, Steenkamp was performing at the Talent Africa Nationals in October last year.
