"Marionette" by Flyleaf song played live in Texas.

Marionette was inspired by a moment when I felt alienated and judged harshly by people who don't know me. I couldn't shake the feeling so I sat down and wrote the chorus to this song. Looking back I realize this isn't the first time I have felt harsh critics in life gnashing their teeth at me, and we all go through it, but I think the most important thing is how we react. God has called me to love those who persecute me. He has reminded me with love and grace, who I am. I am sure I will judge someone today and need to be reminded to look at others in love instead of hate. This song is about standing up for who you are and realizing you're special. -Kristen
