Breast Cancer Awareness Month

My dear Lola from Papa's side whom we were not able to know personally, not able to play and bond with while growing up, was taken away from us when I was about 5 years old due to breast cancer. Mama and Papa, always tell me how warm and loving she was to us when she was still alive. How I miss her. I had this dream of me being taken care of her when I had my asthma attacks when I was little. I am not sure if it was a dream or if it was real. But I love her very much.

I crafted this layered flower and butterfly art with a not-so-perfect pink ribbon with glittered Iron-On that symbolizes their fight, like bruises and their pain but still a beauty. And filled the layered art with shaker fillers that I would also like to represent hope, love, and happiness to all the breast cancer warriors, survivors, and fighters, and their families as well. Let us support their fight. Let's give them hope, and let's celebrate life with them. ❤️
