Configurando VLANs para redes de Automação Industrial

O switch industrial tem a função de estabelecer a conectividade de rede entre ambientes industriais e aplicações de negócios corporativos. Projetados especialmente para uso industrial, esses tipos de switch são direcionados para aplicações consideradas críticas e por este motivo geralmente são capazes de resistir a temperaturas extremas e condições adversas em uma infinidade de ambientes que abrangem desde o chão da fábrica até o controle de tráfego.
Em configurações exigentes, uma característica útil de switch industrial gerenciado é a capacidade de poder definir as configurações para o modo VLAN. Isso possibilita agrupar dispositivos por departamento de trabalho (por exemplo, TI / logística) e isolar o tráfego entre esses grupos para que informações críticas possam fluir sem demora para o local alocado e ao mesmo tempo aumentar o nível de segurança da rede.
