Over 100 missing after devastating floods hit the Indian Himalayas

At least 42 people have died and more than 100 others are missing after severe flooding in the Indian Himalayas.

Heavy rain caused a glacial lake to burst, leading to widespread damage.

At least seven soldiers are among the deceased.

Several soldiers were swept away by the water.

Two thousand four hundred people have safely evacuated, while 7,600 are sheltering in relief camps.
