How This Woman Survived Rowing From California to Hawaii
Lisa Ditton spent 86 days at sea rowing all alone. She capsized twice on her route from San Francisco to Hawaii. She persisted and continued the voyage fighting through its challenges including sharks. “I stared at him, and he stared back, and he immediately got the idea and he left,” she told Inside Edition. The excursion took four years of training and this wasn’t the last leg. She now wants to try rowing from Japan and California. Inside Edition Digital’s Leigh Scheps has more.
