pgAdmin 4 – How to Install on Ubuntu & Fedora (Linux)

In this video I show how to install pgAdmin 4 on Linux step by step. You will learn how to check that PostgreSQL is installed (psql --version), choose the correct package method for your distro (apt for Ubuntu/Debian or RPM for Fedora), install curl, add the pgAdmin repository public key and repository config, and run the apt or rpm commands to install pgAdmin4 (desktop and/or web mode). The demo uses Ubuntu 24.04 but I point out the RPM option for Fedora and how to download a tarball if you prefer manual installation. Follow the exact commands shown in the terminal to get pgAdmin up and running and how to open it on first launch.
