Prior Body Work?

This Kia got damaged in the left rear quarter panel and one of the first things I noticed was the prior body work that was cracked and chipping away. People like to attack the use of "bondo" however if you use quality materials and apply them properly, it will last just as long as the vehicle. If the panel gets damaged again and cracks the filler then sure the body filler will start to come loose because moisure will get behind it. As a tech we always CRINGE when we see prior repairs and not because they were necessarily done wrong. We cringe because we have PTSD from HORRIBLE repairs we have come across over the years so you just never know what kind of mess you might be getting into. Luckily this was wasn't bad so it didn't cause much extra work, but it still made me cringe when I first saw it!
