Here's another little clip of some two-way pickslanting scale practice. What makes this "2wps"? It's not whether the pick itself appears "slanted". It's the dual slanted motion paths the pick follows. Because of the odd numbered note groupings, each string flip flops in terms of the pickstroke that needs to switch strings - first the downstroke, then the upstroke, and so on. When you do this with (mostly) wrist motion, the diagonal motion paths are so flat that it just looks like one motion all the time, until you slow it down.
