What REALLY Killed Vader (A Star Wars Fan Theory)

Darth Plagueis holds the key to Vader's creation... and his undoing.

I always thought Vader's death was a bit... abrupt. So like any good Star Wars fan, I've concocted this elaborately-researched backstory that gives a deeper explanation to a question that George Lucas would almost certainly answer with "Lightning... duh."

Oh well. If any movies could do with some retconning, it's the prequels. Sooo you're welcome, world!

(As much as I love all the extra canon and EU/Legends stuff, this theory really only sources the movies; please don't Force choke me.)
