How to solo farm in EDF 4.1 as an Air Raider. This farming run is in mission 82, Heaven's Army. This mission will help you get all of the best gear, including the Rule of God gun for the Air Raider!

Grab the best stationary turret you can grab, the weakest one you can use would be the level 46 ZERA-GUN, although the level 79 ZEXR-GUN is the best choice here.

Next grab the level 66 Power Assist Gun MG, as it provides the 1.5 damage boost we need to take down dropships quickly. What you would really want to bring is the level 84 Power Post ZM.

Now for the workhorse of most Air Raider farming runs: the Epsilon Armored Blast Railgun at level 69, and the Epsilon Armored Blast Railgun E at level 84. If you manage to get the level 84 Epsilon E, you can actually drop the power assist equipment and add in a second turret to help keep the AI alive.

Let's talk about the strategy for this farming run. Timing is everything, and so is accuracy. The first thing you must do is call in the Epsilon tank, otherwise it will not drop in time. Then quickly go set up your turrets in front of the landing zone to help keep the AI alive. The AI is what distracts the red dragons and other insects from attacking you while you are blowing up drop-ships.

Now that the Epsilon has dropped, set up your power assist equipment on your tank and start firing on the middle drop-ship. Even though you might be able to put the final blow in on the middle drop-ship. you should divert your attention to one of the ships on either side. This is because you can completely drop a side ship and the middle one before either can drop another round of bad guys. This then gives you enough time to hop out and replace your a power assist equipment, activate your other turrets, or even call in another Epsilon before the third even opens.

Now that you have downed all the drop-ships, the cleanup commences. Don't let the victory over the drop-ships give you a false sense of victory; red dragons are extremely powerful and can still kill you easily. Dwindle the red dragon forces down to only a few, and start collecting loot! If you kept enough of the AI alive, they will not only pull all the aggro but also kill the rest of the dragons off.
