A24 Trap vs. Raccoon

A raccoon got more than he bargained for when investigating the Goodnature A24 Trap. I thought the trap has been knocked over in a windstorm. Boy was I surprised when I reviewed the trail camera footage! The trap was still working after this, and even caught another rodent whilst lying on its side.

Bait: Custom bait consisting exclusively of birdseed and shelled / salted sunflower seeds. The A24 is mounted on a wood plank, and I also put down some birdseed under a layer of copper mesh, in order to entice pests to come near the trap.
