Learn Peyote Stitch in 30 Seconds: Beading Tutorial #beadingtechnique #peyote #beads #jewelrymaking

In this peyote stitch tutorial you will learn the peyote stitch technique in just 30 seconds using seed beads! Once you have an even count peyote stitch pattern, you can use this beading technique to make a beautiful peyote stitch bracelet or peyote stitch earrings of any size! This quick and easy bead weaving tutorial is perfect for a peyote stitch beginner and can be used with any size or shape beads!
METHOD:
1. Using about 1 metre (1 yrd) of thread, slide any bead down towards the end. Pass through the bead twice to create a stopper bead.
2. Thread on an EVEN number of beads, equal to the width of your design and slide them down to the stopper.
3. Pick up one bead, skip the end most bead and pass into the next one. The newly added bead will sit neatly beside the one you skipped, sticking out slightly.
4. Pick up another bead, skip the following bead and pass into the one after. This bead will also sit neatly beside the one you skipped, sticking outwards. Repeat that process all the way down your work until you are exiting the end bead. All the beads you added will be sticking out.
5. Pick up one bead, turn back and skipping the end most bead, pass through the last bead you added (the first one that is sticking out). Pick up another bead, skip the bead in the gap and pass into the next bead that is sticking out. The newly added bead will fill the gap and will be sticking out. Repeat this process all the way down your work until your exiting the end most bead.
6. Repeat step 5 as many times as you need, until your beadwork reaches your desired length.
