Mozart: Don Giovanni Finale (George London, Benno Kusche, Sena Jurinac, Gottlob Frick)

When Don Giovanni (George London) sits down for dinner, being waited upon by his servant Leporello (Benno Kusche), he is visited by his old flame Donna Elvira (Sena Jurinac) and the statue of the Commendatore (Gottlob Frick), a man he killed at the start of the opera. The statue wants him to repent for his carefree life, but Giovanni remains true to himself... Joseph Keilberth conducts the Bavarian Opera forces. The sound is taken from a Melodram recording of a live performance.
