Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is probably the most prominent representative of a new generation of African writers who have made a breakthrough in the United States and are read all over the world. She has a critically acclaimed writing career behind her, and took the world by storm with 'Americanah' and 'Half of a Yellow Sun', both of which have received prestigious awards. Most recently, Adichie is the author of the essay 'Notes on Grief'.
