Stronghold, a game that marked our youth, has a very beautiful and unique medieval-ish soundtracks. We always wanted to make a cover of one of these amazing songs, and especially "Castlejam".
Youness did it ! He tried to stick to the main content, he played strings and percussion on FL Studio and recorded guitar and Oud on Cubase. The oud sound gave to the song an arabesque pattern that inspired me to create this clip.
We went to Hamza El Fasiki's Workshop, a social entrepreneur and young artisan, Craft Draft, and recorded the video. The idea was to do a little jump back in time into the Medina of Fès, in the middle of an artisan's workshop (while keeping some anachronism).
