Kaletra, Chloroquine can be used to treat covid 19: Korean Professor

South Korea is using the anti-malaria drug chloroquine to treat some patients with severe coronavirus symptoms, but professor of infectious diseases Kim Woo-joo, from Korea University Guro Hospital, cautions the clinical effects of the drug are not yet proven and it should be administered under prescription by experienced doctors to avoid dangerous side affects.

A clinical trial is underway in South Korea to determine the effectiveness of treating COVID-19 with chloroquine, with Kim hoping more will be known from trial in three to four months. Video by AFP
