King Kut Out - Orchestral Remix (Donkey Kong 64)

New remix of Creepy Castle here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIR8rYuKij4
My first boss Remix! Followed by me reaching 5000 views, AND my first video to reach 5000 views on its own! AND the Creepy Castle remix was published when I reached 50,000 views, on DK64's 15th anniversary, so yeah.

If you're wondering who the heck that shadowy guy is, he's a character I made. Quickly. A Kremling, which is how the crocodiles of the Donkey Kong games are called. Really bad painting skills at the time, but the new thumbnail looks decent.

Basically, here is the boss of the level 'Creepy Castle', from Donkey Kong 64: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkFaPwCQScA

King Kut Out is a flat cardboard version of King K. Rool, apparently voiced by one of the Kremlings that control him. So I thought it would be cool if this enchanting voice was provided by some kooky character. The Dracula theme came to mind, and with some Elvis-escue hair to give an additional touch of crazy, this character was made. Again, quickly.

"The Kount", as I call him, would stay behind King Kut's head, handling the lasers. The fact that he goes up and down so fast is also a good reason for him to shout so excitingly. At the end he could possibly be catapulted by the remains of King Kut and fight the Kongs in combat, to be shortly pushed into one of the cannons, being fired into the distance. The Kremlings, as in the original battle, would remain with the ruins of King Kut, and flee.

Composition by Grant Kirkhope. Dave Phaneuf's MIDI helped me find the notes.
