The Serta iSeries is a 12″ hybrid mattress with a cooling cover, memory foam and poly foam comfort layer, and a zoned, pocketed coil support base. This mattress is available in 3 different firmnesses and 3 levels—Standard, Enhanced, and Ultimate.
We tested the Standard mattress in the medium firmness and found the mattress to have a deep level of sinkage and low levels of bounce. For sleepers who are looking for deeper contour, but maintaining a restrained feel, the Serta could be a solid pick.
If you opt for the Enhanced or Ultimate level of this mattress, the firmness range expands to also include a plush and firm version. The Standard version only comes in a single firmness—”medium”, which we found to have a medium-firm feel.
In our performance tests, the Sera iSeries Hybrid earned an overall score of 8.61, ranking the mattress in the top 48% of all mattresses tested to date.
This mattress costs $2,099 for a queen, which is 48% more expensive than the average hybrid mattress, for a difference of $682. While this mattress does have some nice performance features, it’s not as good of a value as we’ve seen from many other hybrids.
